New York Mets Spring Broadcast Schedule Posted

New York MetsWe have another television schedule to announce, as the New York Mets spring broadcast schedule has been released by SNY.

All in all, SNY is planning 100 hours of exclusive Mets programming, plus complete daily coverage of the team on SNY.tv.

Live Mets baseball returns to SNY Saturday, February 25 at 1:05 p.m. as the network’s broadcast team of Ron Darling, Keith Hernandez, Gary Cohen and field reporter Steve Gelbs call all the action for its 2017 spring training broadcast opener versus the Washington Nationals. Coverage begins live from Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie with Mets Pre-Game at 12:30 p.m. Host Gary Apple will be joined by network analyst Nelson Figueroa and contributors Gary, Keith and Ron as they preview the upcoming season and set up the day’s spring training action. The broadcast is the first of 15 live Mets games to be produced by SNY during spring training.

SNY studio programming will again lead the way beginning in February with extensive daily coverage of the Mets in Port St. Lucie. It all gets started each day at 5:00 p.m. with the network’s half-hour news and entertainment shows Daily News Live and Loud Mouths. At 6 p.m., SNY’s popular offseason programs Mets Hot Stove (Monday and Thursday) and Baseball Night in New York (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) provide the latest news and rumors for the team as it gears up for the spring season. Mets Hot Stove will be LIVE from Tradition Field at Port St. Lucie Monday, February 20 through Wednesday, February 22nd and will culminate with its final broadcast as part of SNY’s annual LIVE one-hour show from Duffy’s Sports Grill Thursday, February 23.
