Seattle Mariners logoWe’ve posted a Seattle Mariners 2016 spring schedule, with a 33-game slate that includes 18 home games at the Peoria Sports Complex beginning March 2.

You can view the schedule here.

The Mariners and San Diego Padres open their spring schedules on Wednesday, March 2 at 1:10 p.m. (in a shift, Seattle’s home game will begin at 1:10 p.m., instead of 1:05 p.m.) in the annual charity game, with proceeds benefiting local charitable and youth organizations in the Peoria area. The two teams meet again on Thursday, March 3. As most of you know, the Padres and Mariners share Peoria Sports Complex and Peoria Stadium, which has undergone plenty of renovations in the last few years.

It’s an interesting Mariners 2016 spring schedule: Seattle has four night games on the schedule, the most we’ve ever seen from the Mariners.

Three games are set against the 2015 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals. The Royals will visit Peoria on March 9 and March 28, and the Mariners will go to Surprise on Saturday, March 19.

The opponent the Mariners will see most often next spring will be the Colorado Rockies. The two teams will play two games in Peoria and two at Salt River Fields, home of the Rockies. The teams will conclude their Cactus League schedules on Friday, April 1 in Peoria, and Saturday, April 2 at Salt River Fields.

There will be a special presale of 2016 spring training single game tickets for Mariners season ticket holders and Mariners.com registered users December 5-7. Single game tickets will be available to all fans, online only, beginning Saturday, December 12. The Peoria box office opens on Saturday, January 9.

The team also released reporting dates. You can see them here.
