The Atlanta Braves are always a good spring-training draw, and a move to North Port in Sarasota County shouldn’t diminish that popularity. We’ll find out soon, as Atlanta Braves 2020 spring training tickets go on sale Saturday.
The Braves are hosting a spring-training season-ticket launch event this Saturday at the George Mullen Activity Center in North Port from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. This will be the first public opportunity for fans to place a deposit for 2020 spring-training season tickets.
“We are looking forward to meeting and interacting with everyone on Saturday,” said Mike Dunn, Braves vice president of Florida operations. “This will be our first public event where fans can put a deposit down on their season tickets and have a little fun at the same time.”
Construction continues apace on the project, as shown in the recent construction photo:
As part of the event, family friendly activities will take place including music, face painting, hourly giveaways, pictures with life-size bobbleheads and free food. There will also be a free Chipper Jones replica jersey given out to the first 500 deposits placed.
The Braves will spend one last spring training at Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports complex and Champion Stadium in 2019 before moving full-time to the North Port complex for spring training 2020.
