Marlins 2015 spring training schedule posted

Miami MarlinsWe’ve posted the Miami Marlins 2015 spring training schedule, which covers 19 games at Roger Dean Stadium, including 16 home games and three “road” games against the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Marlins will open their exhibition schedule on Monday, March 2, hosting Florida International University at 1:05 p.m. The Marlins will then host the University of Miami at 1:05 p.m. on March 3, before opening up their Grapefruit League schedule on March 5 vs. the Cardinals at 1:05 p.m. Overall, the Marlins will play a total of 30 Grapefruit League games, with home games in Jupiter against the Cardinals (three times), Mets (three times), Nationals (three times), Tigers (March 15), Braves (March 20), Twins (March 22), Red Sox (March 24) and Astros (March 28). The team will close out the Grapefruit League portion of their schedule on April 1 vs. Washington, before heading to Greensboro to take on their Single-A affiliate Grasshoppers on April 3.

Marlins pitchers and catchers will have physicals on February 20 and will hold their first on-field workout that afternoon. The first full-squad workout will take place in the afternoon on February 24, following morning physicals for position players.

Season tickets are available now. Individual tickets for games in Jupiter will go on sale on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Roger Dean Stadium Box Office during Fan Fest at 5 p.m. and at local Ticketmaster locations at 6 p.m.
