D-Backs, Rox announce 2011 ticket prices

The Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies, in conjunction with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, announced today ticket pricing for all Spring Training games during the inaugural Cactus League season at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in 2011. No schedules, though.

General admission lawn seating that will hold 4,000 people will be $8 and tickets for 7,000 reserved seats in the seating bowl will range from $15-$25. More specifically, ticket prices for games at Salt River Fields are: Infield Box $25, Dugout Reserve $21, Infield Reserve $20, Party Decks $19, Baseline Reserve $15 and Lawn $8.

“Consistent with our pricing for regular-season games at Chase Field, D-backs’ Spring Training games at Salt River Fields will be affordable for families to endure the finest fan experience throughout the Cactus League next year,” said D-backs’ President & CEO Derrick Hall. “The ballpark is designed to offer plenty of shade for fans in the reserved seating bowl while also having the largest lawn seating area in the Cactus League for fans wanting to watch a game from a more casual point of view. The entire facility will provide an interactive fan-friendly experience to get close to the players as they prepare for the 2011 season.”

“Salt River Fields at Talking Stick was designed with our fans enjoyment and comfort as a priority,” said Rockies’ Executive Vice President Greg Feasel. “With that in mind, we wanted a Rockies’ Spring Training experience to be affordable to all baseball fans that desire closer access to players and baseball activities, incredible sight lines inside the park and more shaded seating than any other venue in the Cactus League. Salt Rivers Fields at Talking Stick will truly be the stage for a lifetime of baseball memories.”

D-backs and Rockies Spring Training season-ticket holders in Tucson will have the first option to begin purchasing season-ticket plans this week. Season-ticket plans are available for a 33-game schedule at Salt River Fields next spring or each of the D-backs and Rockies 17-game schedules at the facility.

Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community members can begin purchasing season tickets on Nov. 22 and D-backs and Rockies regular-season season-ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets from Dec. 1-4. Season-ticket plans will be available to the general public starting on Dec. 6. All of these priority purchase dates are subject to change.

Both teams will announce their Cactus League exhibition schedules when they become available at a later date. The public on-sale date for individual game tickets will also be announced at a later date.
