MLB teams are still messing with spring-training schedules, but this time the news is good: the Pima County Sports & Tourism Authority will announce two games for Kino Stadium — including a March 23 Dodgers/White Sox game — at a Thursday press conference.
No, we don’t know the teams involved, but we’re guessing one of them will involve the Los Angeles Dodgers. And one of them will benefit the Christina-Taylor Green Memorial Foundation, the nine-year-old killed during the 2011 Tucson shootings that killed six and wounded U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
UPDATE: The first of the two games is set for Friday, March 23 (1:05 pm MST), when the Los Angeles Dodgers host the Chicago White Sox in a split-squad game for both.
