2026 World Baseball Classic tickets on sale

World Baseball ClassicWe have some updated information about 2026 World Baseball Classic tickets on sale, as early release to Miami Marlins and Houston Astros season-ticket holders are available for ordering now.

It’s interesting to compare the 2026 World Baseball Classic to how the tournament was originally conceived. Back in 2006, the tourney was smaller and limited to what organizers considered the top 16 country programs. Eight venues were used–including Scottsdale Stadium and what was then called Cracker Jack Stadium at Disney World–as well as MLB venues like Petco Park, Chase Field and Angel Stadium. The event was also more closely tied into MLB spring training, with several countries practicing at spring complexes.

We still should see 2026 World Baseball Classic teams squaring off against MLB teams in spring training, but the tournament itself will be centered on just four venues: Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Tokyo Dome; Daikin Park in Houston, and loanDepot Park in Miami. In particular, loanDepot Park will be the center of much of tournament action: The first round at loanDepot park will take place March 6-11, 2026 and feature the Dominican Republic, Israel, Netherlands, Nicaragua and Venezuela. loanDepot park will then host the quarterfinals (March 13-14), semifinals and finals of the tournament (March 15-17). Also playing a prime role is Daikin Park, hosting first-round games featuring Brazil, Great Britain, Italy, Mexico and the United States on March 6-11, as well as quarterfinal games on March 13-14.

While March 2026 seems a long time away, tickets for the tournament are now on sale, with full ticket strips available for Houston Astros and Miami Marlins season-ticket holders. Now, we don’t expect many of the games to sell out: all in all, some 1,306,414 fans attended the 2023 Classic, and the championship match at loanDepot Park did indeed sell out. If you’re interested in single-game tickets, those won’t go on sale until January 15, 2026.
