More Florida Spring Training Events on Tap

Tampa Bay Rays logoWe have a few more Florida spring training events to pass along, as the St. Louis Cardinals, Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays are all holding fan events to mark the beginning of training camp.

The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches is sponsoring this year’s Baseball Bash at Roger Dean Stadium on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 6-8 p.m. Select players and managers from the St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins will sign autographs on the field from 6-7 p.m. (There is a maximum of one autograph from each player, per person, so that all attendees will have the opportunity to meet the players.) The participating players will not be announced prior to the event.

Cardinals General Manager John Mozeliak will preview the Cards’ 2019 plans from 7-8 p.m. There will also be a silent auction, including a Cardinals and Marlins autographed team jersey with letter of authenticity. Dinner on the party deck is included. You don’t need to be a Chamber of Commerce member to attend, but you do need to register; click here for more information.

In Port Charlotte, the Rays are holding their annual Fan Day Florida spring training events from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Charlotte Sports Park on Feb. 18. On the agenda: inflatables, face painters, games and mascot appearances. Oh, there will also be the Rays workout and player appearances as well.
