2026 reporting dates posted

2026 spring trainingWe’ve posted the spring training 2026 reporting dates, with teams scheduled to welcome pitchers and catchers between February 10 and February 13.

You can view the full list of 2026 spring training reporting dates, covering both pitcher/catchers reporting dates and the first full-squad workouts for each team.

Every team runs these initial workouts and reportings differently. This isn’t like the old days, when players lined up to be weighed and examined by team doctors after an offseason spent far from teams. The reporting date for pitchers and catchers is more a matter for the media than for the fans, and with so many players living in the offseason close to training camps, the first full workout can be more a formality than a big event.

As we had noted in The Complete Guide to Spring Training 2026 / Florida and The Complete Guide to Spring Training 2026 / Arizona, the World Baseball Classic won’t be affecting reporting dates. According to MLB, WBC pitchers are expected to report by February 11 and WBC position players will report no later than February 12. That doesn’t mean workouts involving WBC players will be open to the public, however.
