We’ve posted a tentative Tampa Bay Rays 2022 spring schedule, as the team prepares for another training season at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, FL.

The 2022 schedule features 32 official Grapefruit League games, including 15 home games at Charlotte Sports Park and one home game at Tropicana Field.
The home schedule features five weekend games, including the home opener on Sunday, February 27 against the Baltimore Orioles. The Rays are scheduled for weekend home games against the Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies (twice), Atlanta Braves and Minnesota Twins. The Rays host six games against their American League East rivals: Orioles (Sunday, February 27 and Wednesday, March 9), Boston Red Sox (Friday, March 4 and Thursday, March 17), Toronto Blue Jays (Tuesday, March 22) and New York Yankees (Thursday, March 24). The Rays also make two trips to each of Sarasota (Orioles), Dunedin (Blue Jays) and Fort Myers (Red Sox), and one trip to Tampa (Tuesday, March 1) to face the Yankees.
Pitchers and catchers report to Port Charlotte on Tuesday, February 15, and the first workout for pitchers and catchers is scheduled for Wednesday, February 16. The first full-squad workout is scheduled for Monday, February 21.
