The Angels open Cactus League play on Saturday, February 25 against the Seattle Mariners at the Peoria Sports Complex. The home opener will take place on February 26 against the Chicago White Sox at Tempe Diablo Stadium. The Angels will play a total of 32 games throughout the duration of spring training, including 28 Cactus League games in Arizona, an exhibition game in Tempe against a World Baseball Classic opponent (TBA) and three Freeway Series games in Southern California.
The Angels 2023 spring schedule schedule features eight weekend home games (Fri-Sun) in Tempe. Overall, the schedule includes 15 contests at Tempe Diablo Stadium and 14 road games in Arizona, including two days of split-squad games.
Following the 29 game schedule in Arizona, the Angels will return to Southern California and open the annual exhibition Freeway Series on March 26 against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. The Spring schedule will conclude with a pair of games against the Dodgers at Angel Stadium (March 27-28), before the Angels travel to Oakland to begin the regular season on March 30.
